Medivet is a premium veterinary care provider with more than 85 practices and over 750 employees in and around London.

Medivet has grown rapidly in both scope and size and required a system to replace its outgrown practical management system. Linksfield Technologies, part of Northdoor, implemented a flexible business intelligence system based on Microsoft SQL Server 2008. The solution was one of the largest-scale SQL Server 2008 replication projects in Europe and consolidates data from all of Medivet’s practices into once central repository. Each Medivet branch is still able to capture and store data on its own server, but the information is replicated on a cluster of central servers.
