The Northdoor Document Repository is a set of cross browser web based components that provides your business and customers secure access to their documents. The repository supports all document types and allows documents to be stored with metadata that is easily searchable.

Control Access through integrated Security

Access to sensitive documents and information is controlled through the integrated security module that allows permissions to be set by user, user type, document type, business document type or by other membership such as organisation or branch office.

The Northdoor Document Repository can use its inbuilt security module for authentication, integrate with Microsoft Windows Server Active Directory or other LDAP server, or a combination of these. Full document access auditing is provided and document versioning is available.

Store Key Documents Securely

Built in Microsoft .NET using a web service architecture allows the document repository to be easily integrated with Line Of Business systems, workflow applications and existing infrastructure as well as operating in isolation.

The Northdoor Document Repository can be integrated with the PDF Document Generator component to deliver a higher degree of flexibility and reduced storage requirements. Such a combination offers security, high performance, reliability and scalability.
