Rob Batters, technical Services Director
Leading a team of technical experts, Rob is passionate about solving business issues using IT.
His team’s responsbilities range from the pre-sale design of system architecture through to post-sales support and, at each stage, Rob’s focus is on the bigger picture of our clients’ ambitions, as well as the technology itself. His motivation comes from impressing our clients with the team’s service ethos and IT expertise, whether it involves a small software fix or a major hardware installation project. He is particularly proud of the large number of client relationships where his team has earned the clients’ trust through its breadth of knowledge, ability to respond quickly and commitment to meeting expectations.
Rob joined Northdoor in 1990, shortly after its foundation, from insurance IT specialist, Sherwood. Since then he has expanded the technical services team to match the growth of our client base and the range of hardware and applications they use. He has been a Northdoor board member since 1997.
Northdoor takes care of all the technical issues around administering SQL databases, at an agreed price, allowing us to focus on customer service. Vivienne Smith, Flight Centre.
