The company has successfully achieved supplier status, which means that it can now offer its compliance solutions to public sector organisations looking to automatically protect, anonymise and safeguard personal and sensitive information.
The Crown Commercial Service Supplier (CCS) acts on behalf of the government to drive savings for the taxpayer and improve the quality of commercial and procurement activity. The G9 agreement supports the government’s policy to centrally manage the procurement of common goods and services through an integrated commercial function at the heart of government.
The agreement with Northdoor means that public sector organisations can buy its services via the G Cloud Digital Marketplace without the need to undertake a full tender or procurement process, making it easier and faster for organisations to ensure their compliance using Northdoor.
G9 can be used by organisations right across the UK public sector including central government, local government, health, education, devolved administrations, emergency services, defence and not-for-profit organisations. The G9 agreement is fully EU compliant and provides easy access to cloud computing services, saving time and money for organisations.
AJ Thompson, Chief Commercial Officer at Northdoor said:
“It’s a time of significant change in UK public sector IT – and there is a wealth of opportunity for IT leaders to drive important compliance initiatives that will set their organisations up for innovation, cost reductions and agility in the years ahead.”
“Acceptance onto the framework offers Northdoor the ability to expand our presence in the public sector and more importantly it also means that public sector organisations can get solutions implemented faster. We are proud to be part of the G Cloud Digital Marketplace and we’re looking forward to engaging with and helping more public sector organisations achieve their important IT compliance objectives.”
