Ronny KerkhofsData & AI Executive, Europe, Middle East and Africa, IBM

Ronny is the principal of the IBM EMEA, Data&AI Segment, and he currently runs the EMEA Data Segment Business within IBM Technology – Data&AI. As an international business leader with consistent, proven results leading the unit, Ronny has held this position for over a decade. He successfully leads the overall segment businesses in ‘data’ (database, datastores, data warehouse, big data, data lake house) portfolio with product brands like Db2, Netezza, Informix, watsonx, as well as the IBM OEM products like MongoDB, Cloudera, PostrgesEDB, Singlestore e.a. for distributed platforms, zSeries as well as on multi-clouds (AWS,Azure, IBM Cloud) offerings.

With over 32 years of passion for this business, a long history and experience in various technical, sales and senior leadership roles within the software and digital appliances industry, primarily at IBM, Informix and Eastman Kodak, Ronny has a wealth of knowledge and experience in the ‘Data ’ domain. He focuses relentlessly on delivering strong client value by demonstrating enhanced business outcomes through leveraging data, information and analytics to improve decision-making. He has a strong background in leading geo and sales teams in Benelux, Europe and EMEA, again in Data, Analytics and Hybrid Cloud.
