Chaucer Group achieves Blueprint Two readiness with Alternate solution
Building on our work helping insurers prepare for Blueprint Two, Northdoor supported Chaucer Group’s successful go-live with the Alternate messaging solution, enabling them to process previously unsupported messages from Velonetic. This move positioned them for compliance ahead of Blueprint Two, Phase 1.
At the go-live of Phase 1, insurers may face a critical challenge: either stop writing certain lines of business or commit to major upgrades of internal policy systems to handle new message types. By adopting the Alternate solution, Chaucer has ensured business continuity and positioned themselves to be ready not only for Phase 1 but also for Phase 2 messaging requirements.

The Alternate solution is now built, tested, and live. It is available to any Lloyd’s Managing Agent or London market company whose current bureau messages will no longer be supported under Blueprint Two, Phase 1.
