What Northdoor offers on G-Cloud 15

Northdoor’s G-Cloud 15 listing covers compliance screening, infrastructure, security, data, artificial intelligence readiness and the Microsoft estate, from a single supplier under a single framework.

Sanctions Checker (Lot 2b, software as a service)

Sanctions Checker screens individuals and organisations against international sanctions lists, politically exposed persons lists and adverse media. Lists update daily. Every check produces a full audit trail, so an organisation can evidence to a regulator, auditor or internal audit function exactly what was screened and when. It supports batch screening for large datasets and allows thresholds to be tuned to an organisation’s own risk appetite.

Public sector applications include grant and funding due diligence, supplier and third-party onboarding, procurement counterparty checks, and screening obligations under the Sanctions and Anti-Money Laundering Act 2018. Northdoor has run Sanctions Checker for regulated financial services and insurance clients since 1989, including deployment through software house integrations.

Managed services (Lot 3, cloud support)

Fifty-four managed services are listed. Each is available on its own or in combination, so an organisation can hand over as much or as little of its IT operation as it needs. We cover areas including:

  • Azure Cloud Management. Day to day management, monitoring, patching, cost optimisation and governance of Azure environments. Northdoor manages around 40 client Azure environments.
  • Microsoft 365 Management and Optimisation. Tenant administration, licence optimisation, security baseline management and adoption support across the Microsoft 365 estate.
  • Modern Workplace Managed Services. End user device management, Intune, endpoint security and service desk for a distributed workforce.
  • Managed Infrastructure Services. Monitoring, maintenance and support of server, storage, network and hybrid infrastructure, on premises or in cloud.
  • Managed Security Services. Threat monitoring and response, vulnerability management and security posture management, including Microsoft Sentinel and Defender.
  • Managed Data Analytics Services. Management of data platforms, warehousing, reporting and analytics environments, drawing on three decades of data work.
  • Managed AI Readiness Services. Assessment and remediation of the data, security and licensing foundations an organisation needs before deploying Microsoft Copilot or other AI tooling.

What G-Cloud 15 changes for public sector buyers

G-Cloud 15 is the first iteration of the framework procured under the Procurement Act 2023, and it is materially different from G-Cloud 14.

  • It is an open framework. It reopens to new and existing suppliers roughly 18 months after award, so the catalogue refreshes rather than freezing for the full term.
  • It runs to September 2030, a four-year term against G-Cloud 14’s two.
  • Buyers can procure with or without competition across all lots. Under G-Cloud 14, lots 1 to 3 were direct award only.
  • Call-off contracts can run considerably longer, which suits managed services engagements where transition cost is front-loaded.
  • Cyber Essentials is mandatory for every supplier on the framework, and ISO 27001 requirements have been extended. Every supplier a buyer sees has cleared a higher assurance bar than on previous iterations.

One date to note. G-Cloud 14 expires on 28 October 2026, and any call-off under it must be signed by then. Work cannot be transferred between frameworks. If you have a cloud requirement that will not complete before that date, it needs to run through G-Cloud 15.

How to buy Northdoor services through G-Cloud 15

  1. Confirm your organisation is eligible. All UK public sector bodies listed in the contract notice can use the framework, and you will need to be on the customer unique reference number list.
  2. Search the catalogue via the Contract Award Service, accessed through the Public Procurement Gateway. Filter by lot, then search for Northdoor or for the service you need. [Confirm buyer route against the published G-Cloud 15 buyer guide.]
  3. Review the service definition, pricing document and terms. Every G-Cloud service publishes these, so you can compare suppliers on identical information before you speak to anyone.
  4. Talk to us. Pre-market engagement is permitted and encouraged. We will help you scope the requirement and work out which service and lot fits, at no cost and with no obligation.
  5. Either directly to Northdoor if our service meets your requirement, or through a further competition. Keep your search records as your audit trail.
  6. Northdoor runs a structured transition with a named service delivery manager, an agreed service commencement date and defined performance levels from day one.
