Alison Butteril, Offering Manager for IBM i
Alison is the Offering Manager for IBM i. She owns the responsibility for the IBM i business, including defining and guiding future directions and strategies. She works with the IBM i sales, marketing, and development teams as well as clients and partners to ensure that the IBM i operating system and associated products reflect their requirements. Alison has worked in the mid-range area for more than 30 years and has held a wide variety of positions at IBM, primarily with midrange servers and software. She speaks at a wide variety of events, including industry and technical conferences around the world.

David Spurway IBM Power Systems CTO, UKI
David has over 23 years of experience within IBM Systems, as he started work with IBM in 1995. David has worked in a variety of roles, including Support, Technical Sales, Implementation, Management, Systems Architecture and Product Management. He now works as the IBM Power Systems CTO for the UK and Ireland. He has been certified as an Advanced Technical Expert in AIX, and has also been Technically Certified for IBM Power Systems, IBM System z and IBM System x. Over the years, he has presented at a range of internal and external conferences, including those run by the IBM Academy of Technology. Also, he is a member of the Technical Consulting Group, which is affiliated with the IBM Academy of Technology.

Tom Richards Practice Lead- Systems and Storage, Northdoor plc.
Tom has over 15 years’ experience of solution design for Enterprise clients. Currently working as Practice Lead for IBM Systems at Northdoor. Tom is responsible for helping Clients improve their use of IBM i, AIX and Storage through the use of innovative solution design and technologies. Tom also specialises in Data Security, helping Clients meet their audit, security and compliance goals. Previous projects include technical solution design for a number of IBM’s top 10 POWER clients and four years acting as Technical Account Manager around POWER Systems for HSBC Bank.
