IBM Data Storage Trade-in

In today’s data-driven world, businesses face a growing challenge: how to store, manage, and secure their data efficiently whilst embracing new operating models, improve performance and reduce cost.  IBM FlashSystem has emerged as a very popular solution that transforms the way organisations can combine Performance, Cyber Resilience and scalability in a single primary storage array.

We’re delighted to confirm that the decision to choose IBM FlashSystem has just got that bit easier – IBM has launched a trade-in program where they will pay you for trading in any 3rd party storage array for a new FlashSystem.

But before we get ahead of ourselves, we appreciate that moving storage vendors is a major consideration and comes down to a lot more than cost.  As a result, we would love to have the opportunity to demonstrate the capabilities of FlashSystem, especially some of the differentiators around Cyber Resilience, Performance and Sustainability.

FAQ’s on the IBM Storage trade-in program with Northdoor

Q: What is the IBM Storage Trade-In Program?

A: When you partner with Northdoor, an IBM Business Partner, you have the opportunity to receive a direct payment from IBM when you purchase eligible IBM storage and trade in your old disk storage.

Q: How does the program work?

A: We, Northdoor, and IBM will collaborate to determine the trade-in payment based on your specific solution and the storage you wish to trade in.

  • You acquire your new IBM storage solution and agree to trade in your eligible old storage.
  • IBM takes care of the packaging and pickup of your old storage.
  • Following the successful receipt of your old storage, IBM directly pays you the cash rebate.

Q: What types of storage products are eligible?

A: You can trade in disk and flash storage from other manufacturers.

Q: What is the timeline?

When you’re ready to update your storage infrastructure, get in touch with Northdoor. We will provide you with a quote for the trade-in payment based on your unique environment. After your new IBM storage purchase, we will submit a trade-in claim on your behalf. IBM will then send you a trade-in agreement to be signed. Once your new solution is implemented and your old storage is prepared for return, it must be sent back to IBM within six months of the invoice date.
